Psalm 22:3 He is enthroned in our praises.  He inhabits our praises.     We are here to worship God and to lead others into true worship, the whole congregation approaching God and fully expressing itself to God in worship and praise. This is the atmosphere in which God is free to move.

James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.      The Altar Workers Ministry are servants whom God has chosen to touch the personal lives of those who come forward in response to an invitation to come to God – for salvation or for God’s answer to a need. The altar worker is the channel through whom the Holy Spirit works.

My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.    Do you have a desire for God to stir up your hunger and desire for Him. Do you desire a fire to burn in your heart for Him. Do you have a PASSION for Prayer and Spiritual Growth. Then Hungry for God Pray is for you.

Ephesians 3:17–18 Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go [teaching him to seek God’s wisdom and will for his abilities and talents], Even when he is old he will not depart from it.   Children's Ministry (ages 3-12) Our children often imitate us. They learn how to act by seeing how we act. They’ll only know how to love by seeing how we love. Proverbs 27:17 Just as iron sharpens iron, friends sharpen the minds of each other.   Our Brotherhood Ministry, Pastor & Minister Polk's POSSE's mission is equip men through the Word of God and by the Power of the Holy Spirit to step up, stand out and commit to being the leaders, husbands, fathers and men that God has designed and purposed for them to be.

Colossians 2:6-7 “As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.”    Our Singles Ministry equips and teaches how living single differently in this day and age requires seeking God intentionally for complete wholeness through a relationship with Him. We strive to empower single adults to grow in their spiritual, social, and personal lives based on the Word of God.

Proverbs 8:34 Blessed [is] the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.   The Ushers Ministry is dedicated to help usher God's people into the Sanctuary with love and gracious hospitality as well as maintain an atmosphere of reverence and order before, during and after service. Ushers are a tremendous force in setting the tone for worship and helping to prepare the people to hear and respond to the Word of God.

1 Timothy 3:8-12 Deacons likewise must be dignified, not double-tongued, not addicted to much wine, not greedy for dishonest gain. They must hold the mystery of the faith with a clear conscience. And let them also be tested first; then let them serve as deacons if they prove themselves blameless. Their wives likewise must be dignified, not slanderers, but sober-minded, faithful in all things.   Deacons & Deaconesses are servants that assist the Pastor in the spiritual and administrative affairs of the Church. They are to help free the Pastor from tasks not requiring special training, thus permitting pastoral time for graver responsibilities.

Psalms 149:3-4 Let them praise his name with dancing and make music to him with timbrel and harp. For the LORD takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with victory.   The Women of Magda believe we are the "Finger of God" prophetically moving under The Lord's anointing writing on the hearts of the people God the Word of God thru Liturgical dance. Our dance ministry uses movement to set the atmosphere for God to move.

Hebrews 13:1  Let mutual love continue. Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers for by doing that some have entertained angels without knowing it.   The Greeters Ministry is committed to lovingly and humbly greeting, reaching out and receiving people to worship. We assisting all worshippers in a Godly manner entering church to experience a Mighty Move of God!.

Isaiah 52:7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!   Our Media Ministry is key in this visually-driven, ever changing world in the use of technology and media, and to equip other ministries of the church to use digital and electronic media as a worship and outreach tool. This ministry not only provides the technical support required for our worship services, but also records our worship services, various events, teachings and sermons, which are made available on DVD, CD and for livestream viewing on our youtube channel and our web site. They glorify God by ensuring that His Word is seen and heard clearly without distraction or interference within our local church and throughout the world as it’s broadcasted or distributed on media with the highest video, audio, and production quality available.

Matthew 25:35-40 For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me. Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you? And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.    Our Outreach Ministry is the heart of the church. It’s meeting the needs of our community and world, while expressing God’s love in ways that build relationships and provide opportunities to share God’s plan of salvation. The key focus is about eternally saving lives. Outreach is the mode of transport to bringing people to life-saving evangelism through Jesus Christ. This Ministry works to identify and serve the needs of our local and larger community sharing God’s love in a tangible way! We desire to be the hands of Jesus by reaching out to those around us where needed to advocate for justice and compassion for all God's people.

Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall confute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their vindication from me, declares the Lord.” Our Security Ministries primary focus is on preventing disruptive, destructive and violent behaviors, as well as on training church members and ministry staff,  to be healthy and strong. Prevention is the foundation of all we do.  We ensure the safety of the buildings from the parking lot to the Sanctuary.  Beyond physical security of the facilities, people want and need to believe that they will not be subjected to the confrontation or physical attacks while they are serving in a ministry or worshiping at our church.
